Ingredients:-

  • 8 oz stale white bread, cubed
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Milk for soaking
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh sage
  • 2lb lean pork, coarsely minced
  • Salt and black pepper

Method:-

  • Soak the bread and squeeze out moisture
  • Oven on Gas Mark 5
  • Mix together and mince finely
  • Grease 2 and 1/2 lb loaf tin Put in mixture and press down
  • Bake for 1 and 1/2 hours covered in foil
  • Cool a little before turning out and serve cold
